The Department of Management in the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire is looking for two dedicated and dynamic lecturers to join its teaching faculty starting August 2019. These positions are offered initially as a one-year term, with the possibility of renewal as a multi-year position. Lecturers will be responsible for working with a tenured faculty member within the Management Department to design, develop and deliver an Introduction to Business course to over 1,000 students annually, in sections of approximately 85 students/course.
Minimum qualifications include prior teaching experience in the area of Business Management and either a record of publication or practical experience in the field. Relevant professional experience might include business ownership/management, consulting, business/financial analysis or other roles allowing a broad exposure to a diversity of business areas and organizations. Ideal candidates will have 3 or more years of excellent and related teaching experience, a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and with diverse communities, will hold a relevant terminal degree (e.g. DBA or PhD), and will have a diverse teaching portfolio including a strong history of experiential teaching and active engagement.
Applicants will be considered at the Lecturer or potentially Senior Lecturer level. These are full-time, benefits-eligible positions with a teaching load of six courses per year. Lecturers are expected (and encouraged) to participate in the academic life of the College, as well as to remain professionally active through outside activity, training, or other forms of engagement.
