The Department of Management invites applications for the Chair of Excellence in Free Enterprise Management, effective Fall 2019, pending available funding. Rank is at the level of Associate Professor or Professor in Management. Candidates with specialization in OB/HR or strategic management will be considered; primary research interests in topics such as workplace diversity and inclusion, discrimination, and bias or board/leadership diversity and corporate ethics/misconduct will be given preference. Responsibilities include effectively teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting doctoral seminars, mentoring doctoral students and faculty, maintaining a strong research program, procuring external research funding (grants and contracts), building connections with the business and academic community, and fulfilling professional and University service duties. The department has 18 full-time faculty members, including four new assistant professors starting Fall 2019, and over 500 management and international business majors.
