The College of Business at Lewis University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Organizational Leadership. The primary professional responsibilities of this faculty role are to provide outstanding teaching (evenings, online and occasional weekends), engage in scholarly pursuits, actively participate in departmental level assessment projects, assist with curriculum development, and support the accreditation process. The Lewis University College of Business offers twelve undergraduate majors, serving more than 650 students. Over 550 students are enrolled in the six graduate degree programs, offered through the Graduate School of Management.
Earned Doctoral Degree (preferred) or ABD in Organizational Studies (e.g. Organizational Leadership; Organizational Development; Industrial/Organizational Psychology). Relevant work experience; particularly higher education or non-profit management. Demonstrated record of teaching excellence in both undergraduate and graduate classes. At least 5 years of relevant work experience. At least one year teaching experience at the college level. Experience teaching online course; preferably using Blackboard.
