The Department of Business Administration in the College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking a postdoctoral research associate in Organizational Behavior starting Fall 2019. In addition to the Organizational Behavior group, our department is a vibrant and diverse interdisciplinary community consisting of Information Systems, Marketing, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Process Management, International Business and Business Law. For the Organizational Behavior postdoctoral position, preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior or a related field such as psychology, economics, or sociology. Additional information about our department can be found at https://business.illinois.edu/ba/areas/organizational-behavior/. The OB postdoc will be situated in our department but will have access to the broader scholarly resources of the college and university.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate is a two-year position. Applicants must have completed a doctorate in business or a related discipline by August 1, 2019 and should be research focused. Postdoctoral research associates are also invited to audit courses and are encouraged to participate in the department’s scholarly seminars and other intellectual activities.
Postdoctoral research associates will have the opportunity to work with faculty in the Department of Business Administration and other areas throughout the university, and to pursue their own research. All postdocs will have a research budget that may be further augmented through university grants. There are behavioral research facilities and a participant pool. The salary is competitive with other postdoc programs, and postdoc research associates have access to University health care plans. Postdoctoral research associates will be expected to teach two classes per year and engage in an active research agenda.
