The AACSB accredited College of Business at Louisiana State University Shreveport seeks applications for a tenure-track position from versatile, qualified scholars at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to begin in August of 2020. This is an existing position with dedicated funding resulting from strong and persistent growth in the College of Business enrollment. The position will report to the Management & Marketing Department Chair. Area of greatest need is Entrepreneurship. Preference will be given to qualified applicants who can teach/research in multiple areas aligning with our degree programs, areas of specializations, and areas of concentrations.
Applicants should have a terminal degree in a business discipline or closely related area from an accredited institution, with a preference for a degree from an institution with an AACSB accredited program. ABD candidates will also be considered. The selected applicants will be expected to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Face-to-face and online teaching are both expected. Candidates will be expected to produce scholarship at a level consistent with our AACSB Scholarly Academic standards.
