Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management and Managing Director of the SIM Master Program (75%)
The University of St.Gallen and its School of Management are seeking candidates for the position of Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management to take over the role of the Managing Director of the Master of Strategy and International Management (SIM-HSG) Program, consistently ranked among the top in the FT Master of Management ranking.
You will join and lead a small, but highly successful and innovative team to ensure the superior quality, innovation, and educational excellence that the SIM is known and respected for. With your expertise, you will contribute to university development and secure further internationally recognized accreditations, conceptualizing and developing new elements to the program and leading and developing active collaboration networks among the alumni and employers of our graduates. You will have the opportunity to teach at the undergraduate, graduate and executive levels of the University of St.Gallen and you will supervise students in their projects and theses. You will engage with the SIM Alumni and employer communities to obtain sponsorships for the program to be able to continuously innovate the program and to run the SIMAgination initiative.
We seek candidates per February 1st, 2025 or by mutual agreement. We are looking for candidates with a doctorate in management, preferably in the area of Strategic Management, with an outstanding doctoral thesis that shows broad and solid research skills. We would expect a successful candidate to have published articles in top-level journals, influential books, or cases and to have established close relationships with the relevant research and executive communities.
