The Else School of Management at Millsaps College invites applications for a full-time visiting professor/instructor of management to begin in August of 2019. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position on a one-year contract. Qualified visiting professors are eligible to apply for a tenure-track position in the future.
Candidates for the Visiting Assistant Professor must have a Ph.D. or ABD in management, preferably from an AACSB-accredited school, and be qualified as a Scholarly Academic. Candidates for the Visiting Instructor position must have a master’s degree in management or business administration with related field and industry experience for appointment as an Instructor. All candidates must be qualified to teach introductory and elective courses in management at the undergraduate level, with primary interests in principles of management, organizational behavior, human resource management or strategy.
The teaching load for visiting faculty members is six classes per year. Visiting faculty members are expected to participate in limited service to the business school and the College.
