About The Position: The School of Business & Economics is internationally accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). We offer students a broad-based education with a global perspective and emphasis on experiential learning. The Supply Chain Management and International Business department is seeking qualified candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the SUNY Plattsburgh branch campus. The SUNY Plattsburgh Branch at Queensbury serves approximately 350 full and part-time students in undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as graduate students in certificate of advanced studies programs. The faculty member will serve as the primary coordinator of a junior/senior level degree completion program in Business Administration; teaching a variety of business-related courses such as supply chain management, quality management, project management, transportation management, procurement management, finance, strategic management, and quantitative method. The faculty member is expected to work with our students on academic advisement at the branch campus and the main campus, be a faculty sponsor for academic internships and some travel to our main campus in Plattsburgh is expected. As an institution that delivers challenging and high-quality educational experiences to a diverse group of learners, the successful candidate must demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity and gender issues. The successful candidate may be asked to teach courses in a distance learning format.
